I am an artist specialising in Printmaking. In my work I use many different processes to make my prints including etching, photo intaglio, relief print, photocopy transfer, cyanotype, collograph, screen print, monotype, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I am based in Newport, South Wales.
I’m Michelle Hughes, a professional linocut artist and designer. I’ve worked as a designer for nearly 30 years. In 2016, I set up my own business, to create my own range of linocut prints. To date, I have taught nearly 40 in-person linocut workshops in my York studio. I will be running beginners online courses that show how to make a simple one colour linocut print.
Sarah Garrod is a professional Photographer and multi-disciplinary Artist based in SE London. She runs workshops, often to extend the reach of her own exhibitions and immersive events. Recent achievements include completing a large commission for a building in Deptford, and winning a 2020 award for experimental photography.
I am an illustrator and freelance educator with a Master's in illustration from The Royal College of Art. I am passionate about the positive effect the arts can have on an individuals wellbeing and champion that throughout my personal work and teaching style. I have been teaching for the last three years to a multitude of ages and abilities whilst working as an illustrator.
I am passionate about enabling people to discover and express their creativity. I have over ten years experience running workshops, classes, projects and arts events with a wide range of people in a variety of settings.
I'm an artist and educator, graduating with a Masters in Print from the Royal College of Art last summer, working within drawing, printmaking and sculpture. I currently run the Saturday Art Club for kids at Bow Arts R.A.W Labs, in East London, and I also have experience of working inside schools, with some work currently postponed, leading creative projects and delivering lessons to classes.
Daniella Turbin is an artist-walker from the West Midlands. She has a Masters in Fine Art Practice from The Glasgow School of Art (2017) and her specialist field is drawing. She is also an Arts in Health facilitator and works in bronze sculpture foundry.
There is nothing more rewarding than 'passing on' my knowledge of drawing and painting. With the belief that 'everyone can draw and then paint' I love to see people surprise themselves with their efforts. I encourage people to work at their own pace and to appreciate each stage of the development of a piece of work. Taking the positive into the next drawing or painting enables creativity.
Nancy Shafee has been working with felt and teaching for some ten years, both to individuals and groups and has produced a number of well illustrated instruction packs for those learning at home. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association, Heritage Crafts Association, Fiber Art Network and current Chair of The Surrey Guild of Craftsmen.
I am a fabric sculptor and mixed media artist based in County Durham, UK and I love to create pieces full of magic and fantasy. I have been running creative workshops across the North East of England since 2016, inspiring people to embrace their creative side. I absolutely love sharing my passion for creating and taking my workshops online has allowed me to introduce even more people to my craft.
